Where indie music started. Geoff Travis opened the first Rough Trade shop on Kensington Park Road in 1976 and later moved into this one still alive. He formed The Rough Trade Records in 1978 and has been the promoter of London bands such as The Smiths, Buzzcocks and Libertines. In 2007 a Rough Trade East shop has been opened in Brick Lane area, here the One shot One Ride pic.
